Family Faculty Program
Share your family’s perspective with future healthcare providers to promote empathy and respectful partnerships.

Share Your Family Story, Shape Healthcare’s Future
Would you like to share your family’s unique perspective and help shape the future of healthcare? The Family Faculty program is all about promoting family-centered care and building respectful partnerships between families and professionals. We are currently looking for families of children with special health care needs who live in Chittenden County to join us. You can share your story in a variety of ways, such as sitting on parent panels for university classes or hosting home visits for medical students. These opportunities are important for teaching empathy and helping future healthcare providers truly understand a family’s experience. Plus, you receive a $50 stipend for your participation. Contact our Family Faculty Coordinator, Jenny Norris, to learn how you can make a difference today!
