Prepare and Advocate for Your Child’s Meetings
If you have concerns about your child’s health, education, or well-being, our Family Support staff is here to help you get ready for any upcoming meetings—whether at school or in the community. We can work with you to review resources, fill out forms, and prepare for discussions so you feel confident and ready to advocate effectively for your child. While our main goal is to empower you to speak on your child’s behalf, our staff can sometimes join school or health-related meetings, usually by phone or video, if you prepare with us beforehand. We also offer guidance on your rights under relevant laws and technical assistance to help you understand complex systems, always focusing on increasing your capacity to be engaged and effective in your child’s journey.
